Our Objectives
Taiwan is one of the most important tech hubs in the world that drives the global semiconductor and advanced manufacturing industry. Despite having influential partnerships such as the one between ARM (a British semiconductor and software company) and TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company), the Taiwanese tech industry still lacks visibility and recognition in the UK.
TLA Taiwan’s objective is to raise awareness of Taiwan’s tech ecosystem in the UK and to build bilateral connections between the tech communities. Through seminars, workshops and social events, we aim to facilitate collaborations and opportunities between the Taiwanese and British tech companies that operate in deep tech, AI, fintech, smart cities and beyond.
