Open Mic Live – Our program to give our members a voice. You have a passion for a subject or something to share? You have 10 minutes to present and 10 minutes of Q&A. Come and take the stage and tell us what you know. Over a drink or two of course.
London Tech Week – In June we will be taking part with LTW, including teaming up with Fintech Fringe for the Fintech / InsurTech closing party!

Simon Cole
Simon has been connecting brands with like-minded agencies in the UK, USA and Europe for over 20 years. He has broad experience with digital and innovation agencies on multiple continents and he is a strong proponent of “Design Thinking” methodologies. He has worked with start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, helping them with digital transformation from an insight and human centred approach. He has been running the TLA FinTech community since 2020. Glen Adam
Glen has over 25 years marketing experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors, gained both here in the UK and abroad. He is currently Marketing Director at EIP, an established InsurTech that orchestrates the distribution and delivery of embedded insurance programmes. Rita Martins
Rita Martins is a dynamic senior leader renowned for her pioneering work at the intersection of Financial Services, FinTech, and Web3. As the author of the book “Web3 in Financial Services”, Rita offers invaluable insights into the transformative potential of decentralized technologies in the financial sector.
She also serves on the Advisory Board of a range of startups in FinTech, blockchain, digital assets and crypto; championing innovation at the crossroads of finance and technology.
Previously, Rita held the pivotal role of Global Head of FinTech Partnerships at HSBC, where she played a key role in incubating and accelerating disruptive technologies, carving significant advancements in the FinTech landscape. Her extensive background also includes strategy and digital transformation roles at Accenture and Ernst & Young, where she led large-scale digital transformation projects, helping clients achieve strategic milestones.

Philippa Martinelli
Philippa is an Independent Advisor, working with international governments, regulators and businesses in the Financial Services and Technology space. She engages globally to reduce market access, policy and regulatory barriers for businesses and to promote collaboration and competition. As an investor and business advisor, Philippa supports companies with strategic development, building partnerships and scaling internationally. She leads on initiatives including FinTech Bridges for the UK Government and consults on implementing approaches to innovation. Philippa began her career with Merrill Lynch in Equities and Structured Finance. Jeff Tijssen
has more than 15 years of consulting and financial services experience, advising business leaders on how to successfully transform their organisations, develop new innovative business models and capabilities, and build digital propositions and platforms. Jeff’s core work includes establishing a number of digital banks across four different continents. He has served leading financial institutions throughout Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. He is also a leader in our Financial Services and Technology practices and holds extensive expertise in strategy, innovation, fintech, digital transformation, and technology platforms. Jeff holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Business from the Erasmus University (Rotterdam, the Netherlands).
