Inclusive Conversations 2023 – Sponsored by Tech London Advocates and Global Tech Advocates.
At Tech for Disability, we focus on supporting a tech ecosystem for disability and bringing tech and disabled people together.
We are thrilled to be back with a new series for 2023. Quarterly on the fourth Wednesday at 1700 UK time online.
Next Inclusive Conversation:
So we are excited that the first of our quarterly event series in 2023 kicks off with a startup showcase on Wednesday, 25th January, starting at 1700 UK time. This extended session of 90 minutes will allow for plenty of group conversation on our usual Zoom call.
We have scheduled 3 disability tech startups at this event. Each can have a time limit to share their work and raise questions for a helpful discussion, serving as audience research, peer-to-peer feedback, signposting to useful contacts like funders or buyers or any other topics between presenters and the audience.
Among the scheduled speakers are Felix and Zareen of Cogs AI, speaking about their neurodiverse children’s dedication app. We are adding the other speakers here shortly.
Please book your place here and let us know of any accessible accommodations we could try to provide. We will have a chat, closed captions and a transcription. We will share a link to the Zoom call a day before the event and again on the day as reminders.
For those new to our group, note you will be asked if you would like to become a Global Tech Advocates or a Tech London Advocates member, which will make you part of an ever-expanding tech network across the globe. You are free to opt-out if you wish.
During the session, feel free to use your camera or not. Please share questions via the Zoom chat, and we’ll have time for you to raise them yourself or ask one of us at Tech For Disability to do so on your behalf when we pause for conversation points.
We ask you to stay muted during any speaker talks but want everyone to join in by speaking or the chat function. Just use the chat to let us know of any issues we can help you with.

Tech For Disability is a working group in Tech London Advocates and is due to become part of Global Tech Advocates, as its audience is already global (including Europe, Asia, and North America).
It is aimed to showcase disability tech startups and the disabled target audience, plus others connected via business, non-profits and government.
We have been working as volunteers for around two years, mostly with regular Inclusive Conversations events but also planning a new TLA Neurodiversity Digital Hub project.
It is run by Tania Duarte, Marie-Clare Fenech and Marc Goblot, who have various connections to the cause.
