About this event:
There are many reasons why tech companies in London and the UK are thinking about accessing grant funding in China: perhaps you are planning to expand there, you may have been approached by local government agencies, or you might want to tap into tech talent there to develop or manufacture your product. In any case, it’s crucial that before you engage you obtain the right information, get your strategy right and connect with fellow entrepreneurs who’ve gone through the process.
The Tech London Advocates China Working Group is very excited to have teamed up with our friends at the China-Britain Business Council for our first “Spotlight on” session of 2021 to cover the kinds of grants and incentives available, what the eligibility criteria are, how to think about your IP strategy in relation to them and hear from some of your peers who’ve been there before and can share what worked, what didn’t, the successes and the pitfalls.
